Love their free bread and the opportunity it gives me to help others I give some to. There is always lots. Their clothing is good quality too.
In my opinion, Best opshop in Toowoomba! So well organised and ordered, beautiful staff that treat you with a smile, charity/affordable prices and often freebies of food on the way out! Thankyou to the staff and volunteers of Adra Op shop we greatly appreciate your work!
I've visited on a number of occasions. Staff are friendly and helpful. The store may not be as large as other op shops but the range of clothing and other goods available is definitely worthy of a visit. Best of all, the store does not have that musty odour usually found in op shops Bread is often available for patrons to take, free of charge. The dressing of the three windows fronting Bell Street Mall currently (March 2024) has the theme of The Mad Hatters Tea Party from "Alice in Wonderland". The window dressers have excelled themselves and deserve to be commended for the display. Worthy of a visit there just to see it but go inside and be just as impressed by the stock for sale at very reasonable prices.
ADRA Toowoomba is an amazing boutique OP shop. Beautiful windows, gorgeous volunteers, a lovely modern, clean store, and many great bargains to find. ADRA helps those in need. There's free bread, clothing, books, fruit and veggies. Something for everyone. A great selection of good-quality, secondhand menswear, ladies wear, and kids clothing to browse. Unique and lovely bric-a-brac, glassware, manchester and household goods. Come take a look, it's worth the drive into the city. 💕
Had a bad experience with staff, my girlfriend were looking through some drawers which inside the store that were labelled (therefore, we assumed that this was available to customers.) One of the staff came up to us and got angry at us for "peaking around" and that it's staff only. You see, it would be fine if she were to kindly tell us that it was staff only, we would have understood and moved on but she made us feel like she was accusing us of stealing and had a very bad attitude towards us. Other than that, prices were good and the range of items were nice. Just treat your customers better.
