Lots of choices thanks Capel
Just by chance happened to drive by and decided to stop for a browse. Shop was closed and only opened on certain days of a week which was a shame as they had lots of items outside to buy, things like jigsaw puzzles etc but no honesty box to put your money in whilst the store is unattended.
Traditional op shop’s are few and far between nowadays, and thankfully you will often find them in little country towns such as this great little Op Shop in Capel. Situated at the Uniting Church on Scott Road in Capel it is a great spot for finding a few real treasures. And the best part is, it’s not going to cost you an arm or a leg like some of the big name op shop’s now do. This op shop puts the money back into their community and it’s not a big corporate venture so you know you are helping out local people, not filling the pockets of CEOs! Expect to be here for an hour rummaging around and having a good look through the racks for some very good quality clothes.
I love going there to browse and maybe get something. The volunteers are all very helpful and supportive and friendly.
