Location: 9/10 Cleanliness: 8/10 Service: 7/10 Prices inconsistent and service was decent. Lady at the counter had a rough voice albeit trying to be friendly. VHS are sold at $5-$8 (this is not Cash Converters and you don't have returns unlike Cashies), but books are sold 4 for $1 (at the clearance section). Clothing quantity for men's clothing not great but quality is definitely there (great high end clothing for no more than $10 each). Lady's clothing is more than just old lady style but couldn't comment much about it because it was my support worker who was browsing through them. Worth the drive to this op shop and would be happy to visit it for a third time although quality of service has declined compared to last year's trip.
Spacious, orderly opshop adjacent the Aldis, with its decent parking. I didn't buy anything because I was aiming for two specific things which the store lacked: no fault of the store, Stephen Kings and 1960s Mills & Boon are rare as these days. I had a squiz at the other items. Nilly bought an older Scrabble.
The store is so large and clean and run by the sweetest ladies. I CANT believe the amazing prices and the brands here. Dresses for $9, tops for $5-7, kids clothes for $2. I'm so glad I stopped here and got 11 items for $95 including seed and witchery. It's just such a breath of clean air after Sydney op shops that charge $22 for a no name shirt etc. Even Brisbane is getting expensive. But this Geelong gem is amazing and I'd love to be back.
