Always worth a visit in Māngere Bridge if you can get past the street full of yummy temptations. Lovely bright space on a wet winters day. Great staff, but still needs more volunteers. Highly regarded by the local I spoke to. Chatted to the Manager and she was keen to open in the weekend. An excellent selection of goods. The ANZ ATM outside reflects the banks abandonment of local people. Use it or loose it. The local library does battary, bag and ‘Colgate’ recycling. Only good goods for Vinnies please. If in doubt talk to the staff. Great collection of vintage not for sale, which means there are treasures to be found on sale!
As an avid Op shopper, this store used to be in my Top 10 & I'd travel to go. Always tons of cool unique stuff & lotsa nooks & cranny's to rummage. This last time, the store had lost it's 'Op' in Op Shop (it's contagious too) Sign of the times? maybe no-one's donating or only items deemed pricey go out now to cover lease?
Always a great visit! Awesome staff and so many things to browse through. Great bargains too! Pop in and have a look, if you’re in Mangere bridge.
