Absolutely loved my visit to Vinnies in Junee today. Every single staff member was so kind and welcoming — just genuinely beautiful people. Had the loveliest chats and left feeling really uplifted. Prices are great too, not ridiculous or costing an arm and a leg like some op shops these days. Such a warm, feel-good store. I’ll definitely be back 🤍
We were travelling through beautiful Junee, I love to check out Vinnies stores in country towns. I've always found the staff lovely and helpful in all the stores I've visited however today in the Junee store, I was horrified by an older lady's outspoken/ bullying manner. Firstly, I heard her abruptly tell a lady "no" when she asked for the item at a lower price, perhaps she was in her right but there's a way to say it, not loudly and then to humiliate her with her chatter that went on after. Then a lady came in with her children, she rudely asked why aren't they at school. I genuinely felt for the women who went on to explain the life hardships she and her family have been facing over the past few months, I truly felt for the young woman. Perhaps this older woman should consider not everyone's life is rosey, show a little compassion, you're there to serve the community not judge them!!!
Friendly staff. Not big, but well-organized. One fitting room with extra lighting. Card payments accepted for purchases over $5, no cash. I found a great pair of jeans. I would like to see a size sorting system to make things easier to find.
