The staff are angels and their service is lovely. The prices are getting ridiculous though, I realise that directive comes from HQ but $4 for a 2nd hand Kmart mug is a bit silly.
I know my experience may be different to other but the last couple of times I've visited the staff haven't been friendly but I think it's because they don't like kids. Granted my kids are looking through the toys and books to find what to spend their pocket money on but the staff do not want kids touching whatsoever. They then gave dirty looks today, constantly stood over the three kids telling them off. My kids were well behaved, they just don't like the kids touching whatsoever. The prices here are also more expensive than other op shops In town. Kids cloths were $4 - $8 compared to the 50cents per garment at the other two church op shops 🤷♀️
Im a fan of op shops but upon seeing an old faded polo shirt with a $25 price tag on it, i walked out immediately. No opportunities there. Especially bad in an area so close to devastated Lismore still recovering from floods.
