I’m not local to this area but Village Books is the best used book store i could find here near Kerikeri. The books are all in their separate categories. The clerks are friendly and will ask you if you need help looking for a book/author.
So happy to have discovered this lovely second hand book shop, it is a little gem. The books are piled high in all directions, as any great second hand bookshop should be, but on closer inspection they are all in clearly labeled sections , and then by author or subject or alphabetically. When I asked for assistance to find something specific I was whisked around the shop expertly . The people running this place know and love their books , it is a shop run by book lovers for book lovers. A rare find. It is my new favorite place.

Stopped by for a browse and walked put with an armful of books! They have a great range of science fiction and fantasy books which is heaven for someome like me, but also a good range of non-fiction books which we ended up buying.
