Wonderful people there, kind, helpful and it's totally affordable. Went earlier today and I was browsing and didn't notice the time fly. They were lovely reminding me they close at 3. I've always had such a good experience there.
Great cafe and food, with opp shop attached….. or is it a great opp shop with excellent cafe attached. The best thing, apart from the very reasonable prices and really good coffee, are the amazing staff, all volunteers from the local church community. It’s a wonderfully cheerful place, where you can make friends, find a bargain, have a bite to eat and coffee without breaking the bank, and you can “pay it forward” so someone less fortunate can enjoy the same. Highly recommended, and just a stones throw from the station !
Great place with lots of bargains, plenty of room to walk around browsing or just to sit and get a coffee or a meal. Even a very interesting place to meet a friend for lunch spend a couple of hours.
Excellent pricing, beautiful cafe but the volunteers/staff are the best part with a welcoming smile and thanks when you visit!
I’m something of an Op Shop Addict and wrote about this in my blog many years ago. I returned today after some time away to see the place humming with activity. It’s Christmas and so the kitchen was putting on food for those in need or those who are able to pay. The staff are beaming as they chit chat to the regulars or make new friends with visitors. This store has a positive theme of not just being an Op Shop or a place to help the community but a place that fosters the love of finding new purpose for everyday items that people donate. Whether it’s old spectacle cases turned into sewing kits or displaying books in old desk drawers, everything has such s retro feel about it. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Good parking out the front. Please donate goods when possible during business hours and don’t block the doorway with bags / boxes.
