That is what an Op shop should be. Friendly volunteers and realistic prices.

Have been meaning to attend the Annual Drysdale Book Sale for some years. Finally did so today. Well worth the effort. There were hundreds of second hand books available for sale. The books were well organised into clearly marked topics & genres. The prices were inside the front covers, & baskets available for our convenience. We took our own basket so that we wouldn't need bags for our purchases. Spent some time browsing & choosing our books. We're avid readers & came away with 21 books. Total cost $69. There were paperbacks & hard covers. All in good condition. Those we looked at ranged from $2 to $4. The volunteers were friendly & helpful, & there was ample parking. It is a 3 day event taking place in January. A great way to try a new author, or genre without spending a lot of money. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys reading.

I'm not a church person. I use the facilities directly to the right of the church for my employment sevice provider meetings. The facilities are modern with a large foyer, large flexible private rooms with desks, chairs whiteboards ect. Its ideal for company meetings and private receptions. To the right of facilities building there is a driveway that takes you through to an Op Shop behind the facilities building. Its well stocked and cheap. There's safe parking at the Op Shop area, in front of the facilities building itself. There is plenty of parking on the street which is safe as its off the road a bit. I imagine when there are sevices on you may need to be early. The parking inside the fence and direct out font would fill quickly. The church itself is quite old and charming. The gardens are well kept and the buildings are nicely maintained. The people I have encountered there are very nice, warm and welcoming. I could only give it 5 out of 5 because I couldn't find fault in the facilities.

A little pricey but you can really score some great items. My only advice is -like many shops- watch the pricing as things are being tallied. To err is human, to forgive is Devine.

Took my son to playgroup there. He had a lot of fun and we met other parents there too. Fantastic place to take children. Warm and inviting
