Savers Footscray is my most local Savers, but unfortunately it can be a bit of a negative experience. It's quite physically dirty (I've seen a used pad on the floor by the baskets near the entry..) and there is usually at least one altercation with a customer and staff or security every time I go. Some of the prices can be super unreasonable also, which is disappointing. I have found a lot of great finds here though, so I do think it's worth a visit! There is so much to look through, I usually spend around 3 hours here.

Recently I went on an abysmal date with someone I met at ceres on the Merri Creek. He told me he got some great deals at savers in Brunswick and recently I set a goal to chase bargains and dreams when you come by them. I bought a great linen shirt and matching sheet which were to my autumnal colour pallet. Value unmatched. This may be on me. I dot wash the sheets before putting them on my bed and now i have bed bugs. I decided to give savers Footscray a go and so far no itch.

Savers Footscray is a good place to find secondhand clothes, books, and other items. The shop is big and has lots of things to look through, and it’s mostly clean and tidy. You can find some really nice stuff if you take your time. The prices are a bit higher than other op shops, but still cheaper than buying new. The staff are friendly and helpful. Sometimes it gets busy and the line can be long, but it’s still a good place to shop if you’re looking for something different or want to save some money.
