The staff are wonderful. Very supportive and welcoming. It’s lovely to talk to the people within the surrounding community. I’m very happy to be a Salvation Army volunteer. I’m learning each day and go home feeling happy.
This one used to be one of my favourites pre covid :) I went back last week (March 2021) and was quite sad and shocked at some pricing , especially clothes, shoes and frames. I mean $12 for a random tshirt in an OP shop is not quite nice (honestly retail is cheaper) and a 6x4 picture frame for $8!! Board Games and some brick and brack and stationery were fairly priced. I understand they are raising funds for charity, but 90%of the people that goes there is because they cant either afford to go retail or have a very limited budget. Staff were not the friendliest either :(
