Salvos Stores Hastings is worth a stop. They offer locals a wide range of basic clothing and homewares. Notably they have the largest range of furniture I've seen in a Salvos in years. All clean and quality. Clothes pricing is atypical Salvos prices...not a viable eco solution given there's a Kmart on the next block.
I was actually relatively happy with my purchases here. I don’t tend to go to Salvos stores as they are a little expensive, but this store is massive and I’m glad I went through.
Clean, wearable clothing & household items. Some hidden treasures come through if you like to bargain hunt. The staff have been consistently friendly and the atmosphere is mellow. They have a good rewards program for members that can be used to get money off future purchases. Good value on vintage and second hand clothing, woman's accessories, small furniture items, kid's clothes, board games, CDs and family friendly DVDs and toys.
