DONATORS BEWARE. Sadly, weekend donations at Balgowlah Salvos are ransacked and stolen every Sunday night. 2-3 residents of a nearby housing block roll up with trollies from woolworths and plunder every weekend's donations. What little is left is strewn all over the parking bays for the staff to clean up on Monday morning. The police have more important matters to deal with and will not attend. Why Salvos don't have some highly visible signs alerting their donors is beyond me - so hoping this makes a difference. If you do care that your donations can make a difference - please drop off during busness hours. God bless the Salvation Army
The best op shop in the area. I’ve only ever encountered lovely staff and volunteers. The quality of the items is always good and at a very reasonable price. The store is clean and well maintained. My son loves going there. as it’s a great way to support a charity while ‘treasure’ hunting! I’m surprised by the low ratings and wonder if people are mistaking this store for another op shop in Balgowlah (which is more expensive)
Really liked this store, staff were very nice and friendly - Prices were reasonable, and is very neat and clean which is a plus. Have a great selection of vinyl, CDs, and DVDs. Look out for the blue tag which is a sale price and picked up a couple of good bargains. Cheers Salvos!!!
