A delightful experience thanks to the lovely staff .
Not bad but you can tell its an older Salvos store. Good range of clothing, lots of hats but needs more toys and bric a brac. With a nip and tuck, a relay and refurb this can be better because the prices are pretty good.
This is an oldskool Salvos, where you can still get rando books such as dictionaries (which I collect) unlike those Salvation Army shops that only stock pulp books by pulp authors. Lotta clothing, kitchenware and kids stuff here too. Today I scored a show rack and an English-Hindi dictionary for $5. Stoked! The parking and exiting the parking is a bit awks but I park down at Blue West Oval by Fruit Shack, its only 1.5 blocks south.
Nice Salvo Thrift shop. On the smaller side, however does still have an array of different things to choose from. Staff seemed friendly, although I didn’t interact with anyone directly on my visit. Prices were OK. Excellent Changing Room facilities with actual doors that lock, not the pesky curtain where you fear you’ll accidentally flash someone 😄 Very handy that there’s a few off street parking spaces right outside the door. Especially useful if you’re dropping off donations.
