Got some good shirts at a good price over the years. Like another posted here a few weeks back Iwas confronted by a rude man and a rude abrupt woman when I tried to donate things I thought useful. Wife bought an old sewing machine in need of repair there at supposedly an attractive price. A few weeks later found exact same but brand new on line ex Asia for ~ 50% of the price. Not exactly too happy when you ask for key to bathroom. The above withstanding, a round of applause for those sunny volunteers there!
I used to love coming here when clothing was mostly $2 but items are so overpriced now. So much baby or kids clothing that most other op shops would sell for 50c or $1 are $6. Men’s boots labelled $150. Women’s dresses $15-$20. I have donated a lot to this store in the past but I’d rather take my things somewhere else where they aren’t charging buyers so much for FREE donations. It’s a nice store but whoever is coming up with the prices needs to think about the community who chooses to shop at op shops.
