Love the Resource work Coop Tip Shop, for a long time, 5 stars. But this review is for the collection service. On time. But took very few things, left a lot of stuff im pretty sure would sell, on Facebook Marketplace etc. Left with a very empty truck, and im not sure about the economics of that. Mostly I had to find show and tell him what was valuable, like copper sheet, silver plate. Left lots of stuff ive bought from Tip Shop. If you've got the time, its free get them to drop by. But if they are, overstocked, as driver said - then dont expect much. You will be hiring a skip, regardless. Except for one steel pole, only took few household/collectables. I could have fit on the front seat of the car and driven that and more to the tip/tip shop.

The Resource Work Cooperative on McRobies Road, more affectionately and practically called the South Hobart Tip Shop, is a splendid, splendid place. Trying desperately to maintain impartiality to all other establishments I have frequented on Earth, this business is the definitive, and an indefatigable amount of superlatives would still fall short in the praise of this Mecca. It would perhaps be fruitless to dwell on aforementioned features here — excellent wares, considered pricing, range of fare, buying from landfill, etc. The staff here are fantastic. The most consummate professionals in the city, nay, the country. Always friendly, insightful, sagacious, and fair. This is not to mention anything of the undeniable pulchritudinous nature of the team. How can so many handsome and majestic individuals be mustered into one corner of the globe? I dream one day of being able to join such an esteemed workplace. And in one’s heart of hearts, I implore thee to think of a more capital establishment. Bene factum!

It’s so easy to find a gem here! Great tip shop with good vibes. I got a coat and a cute vest in very good condition, and very happy with them! Psst… There’s many nice clothes in the pile, you just have to take your time and be thorough! Good luck! Update: It has been my monthly ritual to go here and it’s always been fun. They open 7 days a week and also open on some public holidays! Just check their page in Facebook. 😉
