You never know what treasure you’re going to find here — and that’s half the fun! The first main building is packed with everything from household items, clothes, books, pictures and craft supplies to all sorts of unexpected gems. You could easily spend ages just browsing through. As you wander through to the large outdoor area (and the front section near the car park), you’ll find garden supplies, pots, bikes, camping gear, chairs and so much more. There’s always something new turning up. Then comes the undercover furniture section — think office furniture, home furniture, quirky pieces and random finds. If they don’t have what you’re looking for today, there’s a good chance it’ll appear next week! The stock changes constantly, which makes every visit different. One day you might spot vintage treasures, the next day practical bargains or something completely unexpected. And don’t forget the little opening leading to the back courtyard! That’s where you’ll find pavers, tiles, bathroom fixtures and all kinds of outdoor storage items. You might even come across the occasional doghouse! I’ll share some photos of the great finds I’ve managed to score here over time. Not everything is a bargain, so it definitely pays to know your prices and stick to a budget — luckily Google is your best friend for quick price comparisons while you shop!
First time going in today. I hand my hands full of items to purchase. I asked the lady at the counter if my just turned 3yo could use the toilet. She told me that it wasn’t for public use. I understand this might be a policy, I’ve worked in retail in the past but I have a toddler who may accidentally wee on your floor. Not sure if you’ve ever had a toilet training toddler but when they need to go they need to go and sometimes there is no predicting it. The prices were good. Just some humanity would have been nice.
Regularly visit Refindit because over the years I've discovered some serious bargains and veritable diamonds amongst the rough. A personal favourite are the various hand tools often available and ever rotating selection of excellent furniture items. My wife loves the selection of plants on offer. Others have left 1 star reviews on a recycling iniative at a tip stating the offerings are 'garbage' - I'd argue that for a discerning individual, there are some seriously great things to be found (even if they require a bit of TLC and know how). Also staff are always pleasant! Keep it up team and thanks for championing an attitude of repair, recycle and reuse.
I love this place. No matter what your personal furniture tastes are, there's something for everyone. Brilliant prices and even delivery costs are great. We have managed to furnish my sons lounge room, dining room and bedroom for around $250. Staff are also very helpful and friendly. 5 STARS ✨ Highly recommended.
