⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t say enough good things about Pip, the manager at the Red Cross shop in Porirua. When I approached her to ask if they had any unwanted or unsellable books, she was genuinely receptive, welcoming, and so easy to talk to — she made the whole interaction feel positive right from the start. I’ve also spent plenty of time in the store as a regular shopper and through my role with Books Worth Keeping, and it’s been really impressive to see Pip in action. I’ve witnessed her handle difficult customers with a calm, polite, and professional attitude, even in challenging moments. It’s clear she leads with kindness and patience, and it sets a great tone for the whole shop. On top of that, the store itself is run like a tight ship. It’s always tidy, well-organised, and easy to find what you’re looking for. Everything feels thoughtfully laid out, sensibly priced, and well cared for. You can really tell there’s strong leadership behind the scenes. Highly recommend popping in — and huge credit to Pip for creating such a welcoming, well-run space

Excellent selection of clothes well labelled and reasonable prices, was also served by Luke the assistant manager who made me experience wonderful his charm and customer service really made my day, thanks Luke!!! Will definitely come back and recommend to others
2024: Apart from legacy media, specifically CDs, couldn't find anything worth while.
