Red Cross Shop Hornby

Please be aware owner I was shopping today when I overheard a conversation between three staff members who were all in a huddle. One of them pointed out that an item in the shop was high up and proceeded to say very nasty things about a coworker who had put it up high. I understand things can be frustrating when your co workers don’t do the right things, but talking about them when there is customers around is next level arrogant. Please save you’re conversation for the break room not the shop floor as I’m not sure why you feel so comfortable to do so on the shop floor in front of customers

An elderly lady served us after ignoring us and then yelled at two boys trying on sunglasses while their parents and grandparents supervised them. Totally uncalled for. Any other time there are friendly and welcoming

If I could give zero stars I would. Came in with my family to have the grumpy old lady complain that my 9 and 7 year tried on a pair of sunglasses as we needed some. She had a snarky comment that kids shouldn't touch. Very unhappy with the service and she decided to say a few comments when we were walking out. Your a charity shop learn how to speak to your customers.

was mostly stock from a plus size men's formal wear brand when i last visited.

Was disappointed by this shop, prices they have on items are a bit ridiculous for a op shop that gets everything donated. There was a tiny glass bottle my mother liked but the price tag was $50 rather steep for a 10cm tall bottle, I asked if I could make an offer, they said no, I left my phone number and offer of $40.00 anyhow which I thought was more than generous. Never heard back from anyone. Disappointing
