Rag and Bone—the original! Col, the owner and operator, is a truly talented woodsmith with an impressive range of tools and craftsmanship on display. The moment we walked in, he stepped away from his lathe to greet my wife and me, and his warm, welcoming energy immediately set the tone. He took the time to show us some incredible pieces and share the stories behind his work. It’s clear he takes real pride in what he creates, and his openness to custom orders makes the experience feel even more personal. One thing’s for certain-we’ll absolutely be back to pick up more of Col’s handmade pieces.

Great friendly shop. Beautiful wood products and a very accommodating owner. Highly recommend.

This shop has moved & is on the main street shop frontage now. Wonderful shop with so much to see. Alot of awsome wood work & many other things to see. Great for gifts or something for yourself. I got a wooden handsaw enclosed with 2 fords on it & 2 square carpenters pencils with funny quotes on them.

Col has a great shop with a fine selection of goods. You can tell they take care in choosing their products because everything is of good quality, and they also sell at a fair price. Quality over quantity indeed. We got a sofa from there and Col organised delivery to the West Coast. Great service all round, a good chat, and a bit of a gallery as well with some of Col’s unique crafts available to purchase too.

Col and Gerry had a lovely hall stand in their shop I purchased and they kindly do local delivery. Since then they have sourced about ten items for my garden and house. So convenient not to have to run around trying to find things! It’s definitely great customer service which is a dying art. The store in Latrobe’s Main Street is worth popping into as it has a eclectic range of vintage, wood and quirky items at competitive prices. There are white goods occasionally on sale as well.
