Lovely ladies with awesome variety of items.
Some time ago l went to this op shop and told the staff member l collect teddy bears for the wodonga ambulance where upon the staff member gave me some teddy bears and said it was a pleasure to give them to me free in which l gladly gave the staff packets of biscuits ...went there again to be told no more free bears unless they can't sell them... so l will not be returning to this op shop...

Used to be a top op shop in Wodonga, unfortunately the rent must be higher at the larger premises because most of the prices are not attainable for the majority of low income population, although it’s very inconsistent pricing ie, high seconds clothing cost or kitchen items, books and toys overpriced, but if you’re looking for golf equipment it’s only 2 each for the clubs so it’s really cheap in that area. I can’t move the clothes on the rack to look at them so I guess it’s just gonna get more difficult to pay up for a seconds item and then it will go to waste landfills or something else. I suggested they may need to have a clothing sale, and it was taken as an insult on price, yet I hadn’t mentioned the cost of the items just the overload that I can’t move the hangers because it’s so severely squeezed in. Twice now I have left with a unpleasant experience and I now frequent the shop less often. I’m much happier sticking to the Vinnie’s across the road and up a little as the atmosphere is much better there, staff are not pretending to be nice they just are.
This was once my favourite op shop, but they are way too expensive now. Staff are lovely, but they are pricing some item like antique dealers. Way out of most people's price range. I do still like to look, though. Children's books are cheap, but some toys are priced like new.
