Pop into Noffs Randwick for great bargains and service
When the "charity" in "charity shop" actually means something. Most clothing items are $5 or less and bric brac and other odds and ends are very reasonably priced. I am an avid op shopper of Anglicare, Vinnies, Noffs, Red Cross and the Salvos op stores in the Sydney area and Noffs beats the others hands down for value. I have not had a bad experience with staff at Noffs but really, for those prices and that staff are volunteers, I do not care about any attitude/service I may or may not get. Now I find it hard to buy in the other charity stores, as I feel price gouged in comparison! For higher end designer clothing definitely Vinnies/Salvos in the Eastern Suburbs (and Salvos at Tempe) but for everything else, Noffs is best priced.
A lovely place to find vintage clothing in good quality yet with very cheap price.. Everything was only AUD 2 when I went there last week, what a bargain! I ended up buying 5 pieces of clothing, just to get ready for summer! They also have second hand bags, shoes, accessories, books, china.. Be sure to drop by if you're in the area ;)
