Lovett Store

If I can I would have given it negative stars. If you are Asian. Then expected to be ignored and treated rudely. There is no greating on arrival, after trying on few things staff walked over and told me in a very condescending tone that I need to put things back here it came from. I don't have issue in helping her doing that but her tone was so rude and dismissive when I saw her been nothing but friendly and warm to all the caucasian costumes. You can't pay me to shop here. See you never

Looks like there is a trend here about how rude the woman that works there is! The woman with red hair is the rudest most miserable person I have ever encountered! She has now yelled at my kids twice for absolutely no reason. One morning we walked in and they barely set foot in the store and she started screaming at them to not touch anything. Then we were waiting for our coffee outside and my son was bouncing a ball she ran out and screamed at him to stop. He was no where close to her store but at the cafe. She then (I still can’t believe this) stuck her tongue out at my 6 year old! I’m actually concerned about her mental health as her behavior was absolutely disgusting and off.

Someone help me because I feel the need to visit here once a week at least. And rarely go home empty handed. I always find the best things and it's such a joy that's so different to buying new. The owner and staff are really helpful with what suits and what will work with my current wardrobe. I've loved every purchase. I also have had a rack here myself and they assisted with pricing as they know their customers and the fashion industry well. It's really worth doing if you have some nice pieces that can be loved elsewhere. The quality and presentation of the clothes, shoes and bags here is better than anywhere I've been. Just warning you it's addictive.

The absolute BEST consignment store in Mosman and surrounding suburbs! Im a very seasoned consignment and Opshop-shopper, been to every one from Neutral Bay down to Avalon, and I can tell you: Lovett is the absolute best. The owner, Jo, is very kind and welcoming, and what's important to me: knows her stuff! The items are very reasonably priced and there is a good mix of clothing and accessories. There are 2 other consignment stores in Mosman but one of them has staff that think they are "the bomb" and you're unworthy as a client because of the fact they sell "high end", the other has outlets all over the Beaches and has staff that knows nada, nothing about brands, fabrics, etc. Lovett is a very welcoming space, easy to browse the racks, good lighting, and an owner that knows what she sells and can help you out with styling as well. Would give 6 stars 🌟 if possible!

Rude staff, unfriendly experience. I buy and sell a lot of designer second hand clothing and was completely put off the service in this store . I visited the store and found an item I liked on the offer rack. After confirming the additional discount with the sales assistant I went away to do some other shopping. I returned to purchase the item. Another sales assistant (assuming it was the owner) rudely told me that I had not picked up the item from the discount rack and no discount was applicable. Now I guess there was some mix up internally and perhaps the item was incorrectly placed on the sale rack where I found it, however the rude, arrogant and accusatory attitude was unacceptable and I would not be confident selling my clothing here. There are other similar stores nearby that offer friendlier and more helpful service.
