I love shopping at Lifeline Plainlands. They have a great range of quality pre-loved items and some beautiful new homewares too. The crew are always welcoming and I feel good knowing that each purchase makes a difference — especially supporting the Crisis Support Line. Drop in - It’s truly a genuinely caring community store.
A nice store with lovely staff. Pricing seems fair on most items. My only complaint is that most things I would like to purchase are marked “not for sale”. I do understand not selling shelving and tables etc to display products on, that makes sense, but you just have random items all over the shop on display that say “not for sale”, like wall decor, vintage suitcases and other items that have clearly been donated to you, Anything that’s desirable and donated it looks like you decide to keep for shop display. It’s not just a couple of items, there are so many. You are the only lifeline store I’ve been into that seems to do this and seems more worried about your shop looking nice than actually selling the items donated to you.
