I dropped off some books the other day and staff were amazing help! Hope u guys enjoy the books I donated!!

A bit difficult to negotiate the road in, but once there, the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Good to know our old books were likely to make it into the hands of other readers

Great group of volunteers. Always helpful with unloading the car and it's going to a great cause. This little depot is hidden away in the bush with an interesting driveway through the trees.

This is the place to bring your used books. Don't waste your time trying to sell used books, as it turns out second hand bookshops don't want them. Not sure how they get their stock? I think the second hand shops just buy from Lifeline book fairs and jack up the prices! So bring your books straight to the source. As mentioned, driving into this bush hall between two enormous trees is as inconvenient as collecting books, which kind of seems apt - so drive in very slowly and very carefully, because denting your car in the act of donating books would be really annoying. But once in the car park its quick and efficient with a great team of volunteers. They pretty much take everything, and what they don't want they recycle, so it saves you from having to dump books in the garbage bin. But make sure you donate some books that are actually good quality and useful and will find new readers.

4.7 - Note the little Shed and Concrete Block at the front. However, you will need to drive up the driveway next to it, along a dirt road. Be very careful as you have to squeeze in between 2 large trees, which seem to just fit the car. It's a one way track and there may be other cars coming out. There's enough of a turn circle once you get in to manoeuvre your way out. Easy to drop off. Volunteers do their own thing. There are heaps of boxes on the side, which help with the unloading of books if you need. Drive safely!!
