The people that run this transfer station are the most friendly and kind people. All the staff I’ve met there there when I’ve used it are great and super helpful.
One of my favourite places!! So much cool stuff. The guy who man's it is a legend and friendly as. If I worked here, they would never need to take anything to the next stage and my house would be an environmental concern. There is seriously good stuff you can get here. Plus it's just exciting, who doesn't remember tip trips with grampa when you got to ride on the trailer from one spot to the next.
Kyneton is tha place to recycle. Metal, cardboard, any battery under the sun. Also great for getting rid of any old electronics. Great feeling keeping it all out of landfill. That's still an option if there is no other home for your rubbish. Don't forget they can also take green and co-mingled waste.
How can anyone have an issue with a municipal tip? The guys there are great and helpful.
This place is your good old fashioned tip, with new gold plated pricing (the pricing is available on their web site; and is not suitable for this review as pricing varies over a long extensive list of categories, and is subject to change). I went to the tip shop; which is full of basically salvaged goods - sold to prop up a financially strapped local council desperate for any lose change they can get their hands on. The shop is good if you want a bike, the rest should have been left in the tip.
