We love getting visitors coming up the hill to see us at the Haywards Shelter ...... On Saturday two of our young visitors who were booked on to the Behind The Scenes Tour, arrived with a bag full of amazing donations for our dogs and cats. As well as food, they had also been busy crafting some very creative handmade dog toys. Thank you, girls, for your thoughtful and much appreciated goodie bag ....we think you are fantastic And if that wasn't enough, we then received a visit from the KauKau Rangers who presented us with a monetary donation and more wonderful, handmade dog and cat toys . Thank you Kau Kau Rangers, for all your hard work and devotion - our shelter dogs and cats are going to love them #sanctuarylife #happyhuhadays #EveryAnimalMatters

We have had the very talented Emily attending one of our Behind The Scenes Tours last week during her school holidays. Emily is making 3D printed HUHA Christmas decorations and selling them for $5 each. Half the proceeds of her sales will go to HUHA and the other half to Alzheimers NZ. You are just awesome Emily and your decorations are super cute - and they even have Dennis's seal of approval . If you'd like to purchase one of Emily's decorations please email to prints4charity@gmail.com #happyhuhadays #sanctuarylife #DennisHUHA #cuteanimals #Dog

* *Community rehome** SHELBY - Currently located in the Foxton region We have not met the lovely Shelby, but we have been asked to help her owners find her a forever home. This is what we have been told... Shelby is a lab x what I was told when I picked her up as a puppy She is 1 & a bit years old her bday is on Matariki day She loves walks beach playing with her toys The type of home I'm looking for is someone that can love her, spoil her and give her the time she needs. She is very loyal, loves being inside and will cuddle up at the end of bed with you if you let her. She is house trained The reason I'm rehoming her is she doesn't get along with my 9 year old foxy so I believe she will need to go to a home with no other dogs She is good around cats and kids I believe with extra training she could come around to being around other dogs but for now no She has no medical conditions She is up to date with her jabs and is micro chipped Shelby is located in foxton 0272143470 ************************************************************************ COMMUNITY POST DISCLAIMER; All community posts are done in good faith with the person requesting our help and the information they provide.
