I’ve found some really cool things here over time and I love supporting hospice shops. However, a lot of the items are priced incredibly high, in some cases 2-5x what they cost brand new! I understand fundraising is important, but these are donated goods and many people rely on secondhand shops because they’re struggling financially. When items are priced higher than retail, it defeats the purpose and they just sit on the shelves. It would be great to see more realistic pricing so things actually sell and remain accessible to the community.

Been shopping here for years and 9+ years ago I absolutely loved it! Disappointed the prices have increased soooo much now that buying brand new is cheaper in many cases. Staff can be rude and unhelpful which means losing money in the long run as I prefer to shop elsewhere. Very strange way to manage a community charity 🥲

Use to be an awesome place to shop, still is to a point but now it's more like a retail store . Most of the good stuff that use to turn up is now put on trade me or held for people who will pay good money for it. When new manager took over prices rose by over 1000% over night, don't get me wrong the hospice is a very worthy cause and costs millions a year to run but now struggling families and those who don't have a lot of money can't really afford to shop there anymore or get less for what they can get. The only reason I give 2 stars is you do now and then still get a bargain.
