Mostly quite upmarket but you can find some dog towels for a dollar each if you are lucky. Expensive-ish but not as much as the red cross shop.
The lady in the counter is always unapproachable. This is not just a one off encounter but a few occasions. So different from the friendly staffs in other close by op shops. My last experienced, I asked a price of something and she didn’t respond she just kept on using her phone so I thought she didn’t hear me and she just suddenly answer while still using her phone. I also saw a rug that I am interested in and one of the costumer told me “The lady in the counter said it’s $420”. I think it’s silly to sell that high amount when it’s been donated. Their prices are so expensive. I know it’s for charity but some stuff are more expensive than their price when brand new. She also just hide the rug under a cabinet which makes me think she might be interested on it thats why she is putting a high price for it.
Disappointing customer service. Staff at the counter were more focused on their phone than assisting customers, which didn’t leave a good impression. When I inquired about a discount for buying multiple glasses, I was abruptly told to ‘read the sign’ instead of receiving a polite response. After purchasing, they also had no paper to wrap the glasses, which is quite inconvenient. A little training in customer service would go a long way in improving the shopping experience.
Very well-organised, items are section in size and the colour coordination on the shelves is very gorgeous. Nothing here much for younger people like me personally, but for families and older folk theres a really great selection of stuff
Beautiful new store, looks amazing!
