CCA is an amazing charity and op shop, they genuinely ease the financial burden from the continued rise of cost of living. The volunteers always make time to chat if im having a bad day. They have free bread available on some days, and even have the orange bus come on a regular occasion to make laundry services available to those in need. They currently are in desperate need of volunteers.
A true blue charity shop it has made life a bit better for me and I must say I am grateful that I can purchase clothes that I need at a reasonable price THANKS keep up the good work happy to support you .
This is a gorgeous op shop - so many genuine bargains. The volunteers are all so friendly. There is no air con, but that's surely one of the ways that they can keep their prices so low. I haven't attempted to donate here, but shopping is fantastic.
I am new to this area but have been to this op shop several times since I discovered it. At times I have made donations. What I donate is always in good to excellent conditions. Rubbish belongs in the tip. I give only what I myself would consider buying. I love giving stuff I no longer need or what doesn’t fit with my situation to this op shop, because I know that they will put an affordable price tag on it, so that anyone who has use for it or needs it, an afford it. This is how Op shops should be. Perhaps there is a place for a few boutique op shops, but this shop is what is needed in our communities. I love looking around this shop and seeing a basket or item just the right size to fit my purpose, or finding swimmers, like new with a speedos label, or books I haven’t read - and all at unbelievably great prices. I hope that one day, when I am settled, I can volunteer my time to support this shop. Thank you to all the current volunteers. You are making a huge difference ❤️
If you are old enough to remember how op shops 'used' to be, you will love this place. It's a hidden little gem. The pricing is very good. It's as far away from those over priced, boutique op shops as you can get. I have visited a few times and always leave with some little treasure. It's worth the little rummage through different parts of it. Staff were really lovely as well
