We were here back in June and now back again for a week this time. The $10 per night RV no-frills area across the road is no big deal. yes theres trucks on the main road after all it is harvest time out here. and walking across the road to the amenities and the pools - so what? its no different to walking across the road to the shops back home. its a great place for a swim and splash in the hot pools and the pub does damn good tucker at night
This is a great place to stop for a night, a long while, or just for a swim. You can buy all sorts of refreshments at the shop including hot food and cold drinks. The swimming pool complex has a 25 metre multi-lane pool as well as an artesian pool. At the moment the artesian pool is hot but the temperature can vary. There are tables and chairs under a sun cover so if you are not swimming you can sit back and relax. It is well worth a visit when you are near Boomi.
We stayed 3 nights. People here are so welcoming and friendly. Artesian pools and 25 metre pool are well looked after. Pet friendly.
Have just spent 3 nights in this park & need to let everyone know what a gem find. From service in the co-op shop by Ruth & Lil to the current caretaker Gary in the campground. They all deserve 10+ stars, couldn't have been more helpful, friendly & run a beautiful place. Clean, clean, clean as well as access to the pool & artesian spa (additional cost). The shop & pool were shut on Good Friday, but it's not a problem as everyone needs some downtime!!! Would highly recommend to all travelers going this way.
What a beautiful little oasis. This hidden gem is in a little town north of Moree that in my opinion has one of the best hot mineral baths on the thermal circuit. It’s quite and rarely gets more than 6 people in at once. Deb is the pool manager and is absolutely lovely, friendly, and very helpful. It has a cold pool, and a children’s pool with a sun lounge, astro turf, and plenty of space to relax without the noise of some of the other thermals I’ve been too. Boomi has a general shop, pub, and diesel fuel only. The shop does real coffee’s that are as good as the bigger coffee shops. Powered sites are $21. There are plenty of unpowered sites too but I’m not sure of price. The amenities are clean and a credit to the care takers. We will not be going back to Moree in the future, Boomi is our thermal spot now 😄 Shop opens at 9am and closes at 3pm Thermal pools open at 9am-12pm,then 2pm-5pm everyday. $5 pensioners Don’t tell too many people about this place 😜
