Incredible range of books. Plan to spend a long time browsing
Devonport is a goldmine when it comes to vintage and secondhand books and Bookmark is almost an inevitable stop-in. The prime location is extremely inviting and the experience of digging around gives it a pretty good treasure-hunt quality.
classic devonport stop. broad selection including a naval section, war section, etc. great cookbook range. friendly staff. always new stock being donated.
06/01/25 My daughter and I visited this bookshop for a short time yesterday evng while waiting for our fish and chips nearby. It is a cosy, lovely bookstore that smells like well cared for books! Got two $6 childrens books for my daughter. The store lady Margaret was super nice and a pleasure to deal with. I wish I would have had more time to get a book or two for myself. Will be back!
Great place to buy old rare books It’s a so antique-looking bookstore that could be seen in the romantic movie I loved it although I didn’t buy any book. I tried to look for a book very hard. And they are not cheap even though they are second hand books and pretty well preserved. Anyone who loves the movie “Notting hill “ starring Hugh grant and Julia Robert, they will like this lovely bookstore.
