What a gem of a store! Black Antiques is an absolute treasure trove, from beautiful furniture and unique paintings to vintage jewelry and music, there’s something special around every corner. You can easily lose track of time just exploring! The gentleman who runs the store is incredibly friendly and helpful, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. So grateful to have found this lovely place. I’ll definitely be back!

Rex is an excellent curator of wonderful items. His detailed knowledge of each item, their story and interpretations were a breathe of fresh air through the whole shop. It was an absolute delight and pleasure learning about the different pieces and their individual histories. If you want unique, interesting pieces with explanations of their past, or how they ended up in Katoomba, this is the place to procure wonderful additions to your home whilst having an unforgettable experience. I look forward to visiting Katoomba again for reasonably priced snippets of history. I highly recommend you visit when they are open on the weekend!
