A bit biased but we love used bookstores! Arty Bees didn’t disappoint. Could’ve spent all day there. Clean, organised, and orderly. Sections were well-labelled. And as previous customers have mentioned, staff were indeed friendly. Also - they offer discounts to WOW GLO ticket holders.
Diverse range of topics well laid out and easy to find. Good amount of room to wander through the shelves. Staff friendly. Remember to bring your own bag as hessian bags are $15 otherwise paper bags are free. Book prices were about standard or some slightly above but worth it if you are after books that are less common. Definitely a book lovers happy place
When ever I am in Wellington I call into the shop to have browse . Usually find a few books of interest. Great selection with helpful friendly staff. Would recommend to all.
With an extensive range, attentive and knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices and a calm and library like atmosphere I had a great time here and found a few gems. I did struggle to take the time to look through their range, as many of the lower shelves take longer to look through, and I felt as though I was in the way of others who wanted to pass through that shelving section.
wonderful selection of antiquarian books from all genres- religion, literature, poetry, history, classics, and foreign languages! very reasonably priced and affordable for those who are interested in history. the employees are super friendly and always happy to chat about the books you are purchasing! you won’t regret coming by if you’re in wellington and are interested history!
