Lovely place to hang on a Saturday morning, with a large outdoor area. The op shop prices are much more reasonable compared to other op shops in the area.
This place runs an independent op shop every saturday morning. It has a nice atmosphere where you can enjoy the community garden, op-shop and coffee, all run by local volunteers. Op shop items can be a bit hit-and-miss but generally worth visiting if you are already around the area.
Great Op-Shop.
Best value op shop in Darwin! Most items are $1-2, and it's run by volunteers so they actually care about the shop more than paid staff at other op shops seem to. The clothes are sorted quite well - into long sleeves, jeans, skirts, women's, men's etc. There is also a volunteer run cafe on Saturday mornings, which invites you to pay via donation. If you have a green thumb you can contribute to their community garden too.
A group of our friends decided to met up at Frillies last Saturday. Us ladies shopped, while the men toured the permaculture garden, then we all sat for a lovely coffee and cake at the Frillies Cafe. What a delightful time we all had! ;-)
