Hello, I’ve been attending the soup kitchen Saturday at 5pm near Croydon Library for a few months now. I wanted to say how impressed I’ve been not just by the quality of the vegetarian meals but also by the volunteer staff who serve us every Saturday with such care, concern and respect. It’s testament to the Christian faith of those who serve us and to the Church itself! Thank you so much not only from me but on behalf of every person who attends each Saturday.
If you need food or company/conversation on a Thursday night, this free service is your place and the church on Saturday welcomes you as family, feeds you like one too, every week!
Lovely Church Community on Saturday’s from 10.30am all the way till 3pm (lunch is about 1-3) - feels like instant family. And there is food and company Thursday nights as well!
Amazing community of people who go above and beyond to help anyone in there time of need. They helped me during a time of crisis and I'm forever grateful. Very compassionate group of humans volunteering their time. Keep up the great work you do guys.💚💛💚💛
The people here are super nice and it's great for socialization for my daughter as there are plenty of kids and they are looked after by childcare workers who volunteer their time so the adults can have a non kid centered convosation over a coffee and a nice meal
