A perfect stop on your way out west or into Sydney. The toasted sandwiches were warm and delicious. We also had their scones which are a fave. They have a small amount of homewares for sale. Worth the visit, even while Vic Pass is closed.
Had a lovely lunch while attending the Hartley Discovery Day. I had the reuben sandwich on sourdough, and my friend had the leek and kale soup. Good service despite being super busy. Lovely food, beautiful views, autumnal leaves on the ground.
Place is easy to find, lots of parking. Has a limited but quality menu, lots of fresh desserts and pastries. Outside and inside seating. Very friendly staff a nice atmosphere. The food was quick and fresh, we got Scones, hot chocolates and sausage roll. All of the food was delicious. Would highly recommend 👌
The postmistress cafe conveniently located in historic Hartley, inside this historic venue it offers a tasty range of cafe style light meals, cakes, tea, coffee along with plenty of sweet treats and locally sourced items for sale. Dog friendly. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating along with parking out front. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good value for money. Would 100% recommend a visit to the postmistress cafe in Hartley.
Beautiful rustic cafe with great coffee and homemade cakes. We stopped here passing through and were very glad we did. There are so many yummy things to choose from. Also, clean toilets nearby. Highly recommended. We will be back. Sit inside or outside. They even have dog treats. There is plenty of parking with space for a caravan to park and turn around.
