Surry Hills Market

Really nice park area with a number of seating available at both ends of the park. Playground located in the middle and suitable to the younger ages prior to school years with 2 hang out tree house zones for the after dark teens. On the zone close to the bus stop you have a great lunch seating and grass area great for the lunchtime at work or the evening chill out zone. Great to have coffee and conversations before heading off.

I’m here on a beautiful Saturday and there is absolutely nothing going on. Not a single table set up.

Good overall playground but slides are poor. Hard to keep vision on kids if you have more than one due to design. Fence is also bad as many little hands caught in mechanism and fence is too low for kids and big dogs, when beside a busy road. However good sunlight and popular spot with some native animal touches.

Nice vibe but the stalls seem to sell a lot of similar items. Limited food and drink options but lots of nearby cafes. Great park adjacent to the market so very family friendly.
